It was set up in 2010 using a SEEDA grant given to the town through Whitchurch Association, a charity. It launched on 1 May 2010 and has become the starting point for visitors and businesses. Local organisations use it, too, to list their upcoming events. Local news is also shown.
I have been involved with managing the site since its launch. The neatest thing about it is that it is community-run; anyone in town can sign up to help run it and post articles.
