About The Place…

Moors Valley sign on visitor centreThe Moors Valley Country Park is a forest park with custom-built climbing frames in the shapes of forest creatures scattered throughout it. There’s even a raised walkway that takes you through the forest canopy, overlooking a swamp below! Business types and James Bond wannabes can do “team building” at the “Go Ape” tree-climbing complex.

There’s a parking fee and a small charge for the steam train, otherwise its free! Of course, you can spend your hard-earned money in the cafeteria and gift shop if you wish!

There’s a good cafeteria and gift shop on site, too. Parking is reasonably priced.
