The Vyne

Splashing about at Mottisfont Abbey

What a wonderful day for a trip to the National Trust’s Montisfont Mottisfont Abbey near Romsey, Hampshire. The kids loved to splash in the freezing cold stream from the font and watch their dropped sticks float down and over the waterfalls.

St.Hillier’s Garden with Sculptures!

We headed to Hillier Gardens in Romsey to enjoy the nice weather and explore these great gardens. Our last visit was a year ago, wow!

Many of the sculptures for the “Art In The Garden 2007″ show were already in place (it officially opens next weekend). What a treat!

An excellent spring day with just that right temperature for a family hike up Winchester’s St.Catherine’s Hill and to its MizMaze.
