Teaching Risk

The time has come for my kids to learn about risk.

Or, Risk.

Of course, kids don’t know anything about taking risks, they just ‘do’ things. However, this kind of Risk is a fundamental part of childhood – well, at least it was mine. I dug out a box containing all manner of my childhood toys, and one item in it was the board game ‘Risk’.

The box says the game is for 10 year olds and up. Is there any harm in teaching a 6 and soon-to-be 8 year old about attacking and defending…and world domination?

Na. Should be fine. Now, just to figure out all the rules again…
