Andrew turned 40 today. All in all, he’s pretty pleased with it. Having kids makes you look forward to your birthdays more…

Andrew built up a fair bit of extra time at work after having travelled to Munich for a business meeting yesterday - so he kicked off work at 3:30pm so he could pick up the kids and have some fun in the glorious summer weather (25 degrees!) at the Caesar’s Way playground. Afterwards, it was home to let the kids splash in the upturned lid of the sand pit filled with water. Granny popped around to give Andrew a big badge (actually, she gave it to Tolii and Tosha to give to him!). Then Tolii took a picture of him wearing it.

Katya is treating Andrew to a wonderful dinner at our favourite local French restaurant: the Clos du Marquis
