The multi-touch computer from Microsoft

This has nothing to do with the family. Microsoft has announced its multi-touch display computer. It was written up in Popular Mechanics.

David Pogue of the NY Times, noticed that it is awfully similar to something first demonstrated by Jeff Han at the TED conference.  Lots of the stuff for it is all preliminary and hacked together — but it shows the direction things are going.  Just don’t expect to use it to write emails (or anything else that requires a keyboard).
